Shree - Mum to S (2)
Dear Ellen, I am a pediatrician who is moving to Airedale Hospital in August and we are looking for childcare for our child and came across your your website. It’s one fantastic website I think, very informative and professional! Please can you let me know if you currently have availability and if not, whether we could be placed on your waiting list. Look forward to hearing from you in due course.
Jen - Mum to R (1-month)
I have recently seen your website and would be interested in putting my child on your waiting list. R was born only 11 days ago but I have heard very positive things about your childminding business and would like to speak to you further about the waiting list, prices, etc.
Natasha – Mum to R (2)
We have used Ellen as our childminder since she commenced childminding. Our child did not speak English as his first language but Ellen was not off-put by this and saw it as a challenge. We worked together so Ellen could speak little Portuguese to R and he soon became very confident in her care. R’s behaviour at home had improved immensely and I have no hesitations that this was because of Ellen and her methods around the children. I am very sad the R no longer comes to Ellen’s but hope when we return back from Portugal in December that she has a vacancy for R but I somehow very much doubt it. She is very much in demand around the Silsden area. Wishing you much success and happiness in your life, big kiss, Natasha, Sergio, D and R xx
Teresa – Mum to C (4)
I can strongly recommend Busy Buzy Bumblebees Childminding. There have been a couple of times I have asked Ellen to look after C for me and each time, when I return to pick her up, I can see C has had a great time with Ellen and her daughter. They always do plenty of fun activities together, some of which, I wouldn't be so keen to do in my own home but know in Ellen's care, C is getting to explore different areas of play that she wouldn't at home. C thoroughly enjoys the time she spends with Ellen and her daughter and can see that when I return to pick her up. Good luck with your new business venture, you'll be just great!
Zara – Mum to V (1)
Clearly a very caring, competent and professional young lady and I personally think a career in childminding will be very suited to Ellen. Having a little girl herself, you can see she knows how to entertain and encourage learning through play and this is evident through her daughter. It's so lovely to see how happy her little girl is when she is with her Mummy. I'd have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in leaving my little girl with Ellen and wish her every success with her new adventure in Childminding. Personally, I couldn't do it and think she is very brave! Good luck and best wishes!
Julie – Mum to E (3)
My Son E has always been happy going to Busy Buzy Bumblebees for a couple of hours while I pop out to run some errands or attend an appointment in Leeds. He has so much fun there playing with Ellen's little girl that he never wants to come home afterwards! Wishing you all the best in your new chosen career. Julie Shannon
Claire - Mummy of T (2-months)
Having seen her parent her beautiful daughter, first hand, I can honestly say I would have absolutely no hesitation in leaving my own child in her very capable hands. My husband and I were guests at their family home and can say we were absolutely mesmerised by the way in which both Mummy and Daddy parented their little girl, in a very loving, caring, and safe environment. Both my husband and I have just had a little boy and we came away brimming with confidence and full of useful tips we had picked up from them along the way. In actual fact, my husband has already said, if we lived closer he would not hesitate to leave our childcare needs in her hands - which is in its self, praiseworthy indeed!
Karen - Mum to M (4) & S (3)
We placed M & S with Ellen for a period of four weeks. We simply enquired with her, saw her the same afternoon and then booked places for M & S to come the following day. Our girls were so happy spending time with Ellen and her daughter. They had so much fun and were quite sad when tthey had to leave at the end of their four weeks. I will most certainly be keeping Ellen's details for any future childcare requirements we might have and wouldn't hesitate in placing M & S with her again in the future. I am only sorry we didn't need her for longer than four week. All the very best to you Ellen in your chosen career, I'm certain you will be fully booked in no time at all!
