What I offer…

Short-term care from time to time, you may have commitments which would be difficult or impossible to do with a young child or baby.  I can therefore offer parents short-time care which may even just be a one off.

Long-time care:  to accommodate parents with their work / life balance.  Care is provided on a full or part-time basis to suit your working day.  Contact me with your requirements.

Overnight care:   please contact me if you would be interested in this service.

Whether your child is in short-term or long-term care with Busy Buzy Bumblebees, the children will be offered plenty of activities to encourage their progress and wellbeing and will work with you the parent in order to try to meet your childcare requirements.

I provide parents with a daily diary for children under the age of four years and this comes home with your child each night.  In the diary is information such as what your child has done during the day, what they have had to drink and eat, sleep times and various other sources of useful information.  Their diary also has a section which you can write comments and / or suggestions which is for my use only.  This method works very well in communicating with parents and has been highly praised by Ofsted.

I believe the most important thing a child needs from a key person is warmth and kindness. When putting a child into daytime childcare, it isn't a decision parents enter into lightly and therefore can worry that their child will not receive as much emotional care as they would do at home.  At Busy Buzy Bumblebees Childminding, I will care for your child in a way like they would receive care from home.  Whether it be a cuddle and a story or simply some positive encouragement and praise, each child will be treated as an individual whilst they are in my setting ensuring that they feel as happy and content as they would be at home with their own parents.
